I recently discovered that I am Autistic, and that late diagnosis helped me understand so much about my life, including my anxiety, depression, overstimulation, and skin picking.

For a long time, I did not have the words to explain what I was experiencing. Needle felting became one of the things that helped me feel grounded. The process is repetitive, focused, and calming. It gives me a way to regulate my nervous system while creating characters that bring happiness to me and others.
